On the night when he went missing, I could hear every color overhead.
Did you look in the backyard? Did you look down that dark street?
I heard his voice. I know it was him.
In the open field, they were praying
not with their hands, but with their bodies.
The only way you'll see is if you keep the fire burning.
You won't see me waiting for you to come home.
O, when you're alone, I want to find you out in the street.
Every cigarette you share. Every beer bottle that breaks.
Tonight you're going to wish you had stayed inside.
Down the road those boys in their true were drunk
in a way you only get when your heart is so full or broken,
but they can't help you
An absolutely pummeling assault of thick sludgy riffs, guttural rumbles, and tribal drums. Listening to this album is like being slowly buried by an avalanche. Practically makes Isis sound like Top 40 pop music by comparison. mattgraupman
I have never, ever been more impressed with a creative change of a band. Old kokomo was great; this change is so vastly different but I find it suits. Well done. I know it’s a few years old, but its my album of 2019 so far. Saving_ryans
Portland shoegaze that plays, as the best representatives of the genre do, with huge, hollow atmosphere against intimate observations. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 23, 2016
Obscura Somnia for a long time has been a song of serene hope for me. For me it is one of their best. It's about time they re-record it in a longer version. en_music
